 I have been told recently that top-loading clothes washers are quickly becoming a thing of the past. Many manufacturers are phasing out these models in favor of the new front-loading washers. Front-loading machines have been proven to wash and rinse clothes better, and front-loading machines cost less to use. So, in these transitional times, choose a front-loading clothes washer both for better performance and for energy and water efficiency.
