 Landscape lights are both attractive and functional. But they are not always needed, especially in parts of your yard or garden. You can save money on the operation of landscape lights in two ways. First, you can save on the cost of operating landscape lights by purchasing solar powered landscape lights. You can also save the trouble of turning landscape lights on and off by installing either light-sensing or motion-sensing accent landscape lights. If you want your landscape lights to be on whenever it is dark, light-sensing models will meet your needs. But if you have lights in parts of your yard or garden, or near walkways, you might not need to have them on at all times from dusk to dawn. In this case, motion-activated lights would serve your needs and use less energy.
