When shopping for materials for your remodel or house addition, don't forget to visit the flea markets. Part of the fun of shopping flea markets is that you never know what you might discover. Another part of the fun is walking away with terrific bargains. Flea markets are a great place to shop for usual and unusual items for your home. Your savings on materials, tools, hardware, and other items can add up to big savings very quickly. Most metropolitan areas – and many rural areas – have on-going flea markets. With a little research you can probably find several that are close to your home. Keep an open mind and do some creative thinking as you shop can help you design some unique and striking features that will reflect your personality and meet your remodeling needs. Whether you need windows, tools, lumber, a mantel, or most anything else, you can probably find it at a flea market.
